Lacrosse is one of New Zealand’s fastest growing sports and Epsom has an impressive track record with strong representation at a regional, national and international level! Lacrosse is a fast-paced, energetic, contact sport that runs through the winter months. We have two teams, both of which train on Tuesdays and play in the Auckland Secondary Schools Competition on Thursday afternoons.

Term 1 2026
Auckland 6 aside competition
GAMES: Played across three Saturdays in Term 1
Teams will play 2 games each Saturday, following World Lacrosse Sixes Rules with 6minute quarters
College Sport Auckland Season: Term 2 & Term 3 2026
GAMES:
Played weekly on Thursday afternoons at various Auckland Secondary School venues
Trainings: Tuesdays after school on the EGGS fields

Fees
Season fee is approx. $150 and includes entry into the Auckland Champs One Day Tournament.
Nationals will be charged in addition to the season fee and is likely to be between $400-$500. Only the Senior A Team will attend Nationals.
The Term 1 Sixes Season will also be charged separately but is usually between $40-$50
Uniform & Equipment Required
Both the A and B Team will be provided with an EGGS Lacrosse Uniform for the season. This includes a number t-shirt and blue skirt.
Players will need to have their own Lacrosse Stick, mouth guard and goggles.
Additional gear required for Goal Keepers including helmet, chest protector, gloves and the option of shin pads, knee pads, arm guards & GK pants.
