Q: How do I sign up/register for Sport?
A: Sign up via the Registration Forms on eLearn: *click here*.
Q: How do I find information about a sport I am interested in?
A: There is general information and registration forms for each AVAILABLE Sport on eLearn. Please check out the Sports Offered and Registrations

Q: Can I play sport if I have outstanding sports fees?
A: No, *WE ENFORCE A STRICT NO PAY NO PLAY POLICY*
You must pay your fees by the due date, before your first game.
If you have any outstanding sports fees from previous years, these will also need to be paid before you can sign up. If these are not paid, you will not be able to participate.
If you have outstanding fees in one sport, these must be paid before you can join another sport, ie if you have a Cricket Fee outstanding for Term 1, you cannot play Hockey in Term 2 until your Cricket Fee is paid in full.
Q: How do I pay for Sports Fees?

Q: What do my Sports Fees cover?
A: Admin costs, first aid, equipment, coaching costs, travel, competition entry fees, officials, venue hire.

Q: Can I set up an Automatic Payment for Sports Fees?
A: Alternative payment option – Parent Web Portal:
Financial section - You can view all current charges and make payments here.
Adjust the amounts you wish to pay against the charge(s) or unselect any that you do not wish to pay.
>> click the button ‘Continue to Complete Payment’
>> select Payment Method. You are given two options:
ACCOUNT2ACCOUNT (login to your bank – no surcharge applies)
CREDIT CARD (2% surcharge applies)
Q: Can Junior Students trial for Premier Sport?
A: Yes, however rules apply per sport. Check with the Sports Coordinator in Charge.
Q: What if my sports clash with each other?
A: Once you are selected to teams, you will know if your sports clash. And if they do, discuss with your coaches to organize a suitable schedule, if possible. You may not always get to play all the sports you want to.
Q: The sport I want to play has already started - can I still join?
A: We want everyone to sign up on time, with no late entries. Some sports codes may allow a late entry if their is a spot available.
Check at the sports office for more information.
Q: How will I receive information about sport?
A: eLearn is your go-to spot for detailed information about Sport at EGGS. You will also receive emails on your school email (ie studentid@apps.eggs.school.nz) notifying you when registrations are open.
Q: What time is the Sports Office open?
A: The Sports Department is contactable during hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm. Any emails received outside these times will be responded to during office hours.
Q: Are the Sports Department and PE the same?
A: NO. The Sport Department look after all co-curricular sport activities at EGGS, and our office is located next to the POOL. The PE department teach Physical Education and Health, and their office is located upstairs in the STADIUM.
