Football

Football is very popular at Epsom Girls Grammar and we have a proud history of success with a National Championship win in 2022. Our players are an incredibly passionate, tight-knit group. They play hard but have a great time doing it!

Epsom Girls Grammar enters a number of teams into the Auckland Central Zones Football Competition including a very competitive 1st XI.

At the start of Term 1, all students interested in playing football are invited to trial for a spot in the 1st XI and Junior A teams. For students that would prefer to play socially, we also enter a number of teams into social grades.

With excellent school facilities, teams are able to train onsite, making use of the Epsom Girls Grammar Fields for trainings and some games.

Trainings: Epsom Girls Grammar Fields, Day/Time TBC

Games: Wednesdays KO 4pm at various Auckland locations

Each team will require a Parent Manager to support with game day supervision and logistics.

July - August, 2026

New Zealand Secondary Schools Premier Football Championships

31 August - 5 September 2026

Fees

The season fee is approx $280-$330 for players in the 1st XI.

The season fee is approx $180-$230 for players in Junior A.

The season fee for all other teams is approx. $90-$140 .

Nationals (1st XI only) will be charged in addition dependent on location and duration.

Uniform & Equipment Required

Players in the 1st XI, 2nd XI and Junior A teams will be provided with an Epsom Girls Grammar Football Shirt.

All other players will need to purchase a PE uniform from the uniform shop.

Students will also need their own blue football socks, shin pads and football boots.
