Archery was introduced at EGGS in 2023 and has grown in popularity since then with over 100 students now involved. With many fun games and mini competitions, Archery is a social, energetic sport with lots of valuable skills to learn.
The EGGS archery team compete in the Auckland league during term 1 and have achieved some incredible results in the short time they've been involved. Any student who has at least 1 term of archery experience is eligible to participate as part of the EGGS team.
For anyone wanting to give Archery a go, our EGGS Archery Club runs weekly sessions with a trained instructor in the New Gym. This is a great way to learn the basic skills, get to know the team and find out what archery is all about!

Competition Details: Wednesday afternoons, starting 18 February
Held at either Auckland Archery Club, Bollard Ave, One Tree Hill Domain , Greenlane, Auckland or Mountain Green Archery Club, Ōwairaka Domain, Summit Drive, Mount Albert, Auckland

Uniform & Equipment Required
When competing, students are required to wear closed toe shoes and the EGGS Sports T-shirt which can be purchased from the School Uniform Shop.
Gear is provided for students participating in the Archery Club however students who wish to enter into the Auckland league or any other competition will need their own equipment.
