Volleyball is a dynamic and exciting team sport where two teams of six players each compete to score points by sending the ball over a net and into the opponent’s court. The game combines skill, strategy, and athleticism, with each team allowed a maximum of three touches to return the ball, often involving precise serves, powerful spikes, and agile digs. At EGGS, students have the option to enter into a social grade or participate competitively in our A or B Teams. We also have a premier team who competes at the Auckland Champs and volleyball secondary schools nationals.
