EGGS has a 1st XI hockey team plus multiple other junior and senior teams of various levels competing over the winter season. At EGGS, we are extremely fortunate to have Sailesh Patel coaching our 1st XI team. He brings a strong background in high-level coaching and has experience in developing both youth and senior-level players.
2025 Season Dates & Information
1st & 2nd XI
Thursday games at various around Auckland
Training Tuesday & Wednesday mornings from 7-8am
Location: Auckland Grammar School hockey turf
Under 15A, Under 15B & 3rd XI
Under 15A & Under 15B Tuesday games at various venues
3rd XI Thursday games at various venues
Training Friday afternoons from 3.30-4.45pm
Location: Diocesan School hockey turf
All teams are responsible for their own transport to/from games and will require a Parent Manager to support with game day supervision and logistics.

Fees
Season: $170-$375 depending on team
*Tournaments will be charged in addition to season fee
Uniform & Equipment Required
1st XI will be provided with an Epsom Girls Grammar hockey dress to borrow for the season.
All other teams will be provided with an Epsom singlet and will need to purchase a blue hockey skirt from the School Uniform Shop.
All hockey players will need to provide their own socks, sticks, footwear, mouth guard and shin pads.
Goalkeepers must wear appropriate protective gear - this will be provided by the school.
Students attending tournament must also have an Epsom Tracksuit.
